Reports emerged that music director Devi Sri Prasad was replaced for the background score of Pushpa 2, sparking speculation that he was hurt by the decision.
Sukumar and Allu Arjun’s names came up as the ones who took this decision, with rumors that a star director close to Allu Arjun influenced the move. Ultimately, the blame fell on the producers, leaving the situation unresolved.
Despite the apparent sidelining, Devi Sri Prasad has shown no signs of displeasure. His bond with Bunny remains strong.
At the Chennai Pushpa 2 event, Devi Sri showered Bunny with affection, calling him “Bunny Boy” and “My Darling.” Arjun reciprocated, lauding Devi Sri as someone who brings not just tunes but love to his films.
The event reaffirmed their camaraderie and erased doubts if Devi Sri involves in promotions. However, with Bunny’s next film directed by Trivikram, it’s clear Devi Sri Prasad won’t be part of that project.
Many speculate that Allu Arjun continues to prefer DSP after Trivikram's film.
