Actor Naga Chaitanya, who is set to marry Sobhita Dhulipala on December 4, has shared his thoughts about the upcoming ceremony, which will take place at the family-owned Annapurna Studios in Hyderabad.
As he celebrates his birthday today, November 23, Naga expressed excitement about his big day and spoke about the emotions he's experiencing.
“There is definitely a lot of excitement, though the butterflies are minimal,” Naga Chaitanya told The Times of India. “The butterflies are mostly about the planning and logistics involved, like organizing the guest list and other wedding details. We chose Annapurna Studios for the ceremony because of its sentimental value. It was a conscious family decision to host it there in front of my grandfather’s statue to seek his blessings. Both our families are excited to come together and celebrate.”
Speaking about his birthday, Naga shared, “I like to keep my birthday low-key, spending it with close friends and family, doing things I love. This time, I’m in Goa, disconnecting, recharging, and enjoying time with my loved ones.”
When asked if Sobhita had planned anything special for his birthday, Naga said, “She leaves all the planning to me. As long as she’s there with me, that’s all that matters.”
Nagarjuna, Naga’s father, earlier revealed to the publication that the couple wanted an intimate wedding.
“They didn’t want a big wedding and told me to let them handle the arrangements. It was a relief for me!” he said. “Sobhita’s parents wanted to include all the traditional rituals, and I was fully on board. I find the chants and ceremonies so soothing — they bring a sense of peace. It’s going to be a lovely, simple, and heartfelt wedding, just like the couple.”
