Actor-filmmaker Dhanush and his wife, filmmaker Aishwarya Rajinikanth, may be heading toward reconciliation if recent developments are any indication.
The couple, who separated in 2022 after 18 years of marriage, had initially filed for divorce by mutual consent in the Chennai Family Court.
However, the proceedings have been repeatedly adjourned due to both parties missing court dates. After their absences on October 7, 19, and November 2, the hearing is now scheduled for November 21.
Rumors of a reunion began circulating after Dhanush acknowledged Aishwarya’s social media post celebrating Onam, and their missed court appearances fueled further speculation.
Reports of a Diwali meeting at Rajinikanth’s Poes Garden residence have added to the buzz.
Sources suggest that on Diwali, Dhanush engaged in an open discussion with Rajinikanth, reportedly making commitments toward a reunion. The couple then celebrated the festival together with their sons, Linga and Yatra.
Both Dhanush and Aishwarya continue to focus on their careers.
Dhanush recently starred in Raayan and has completed his next directorial project, Nilavukku En Mel Ennadi Kobam, while awaiting the release of Kubera, directed by Sekhar Kammula.
Aishwarya’s latest directorial, Laal Salaam, featuring her father Rajinikanth, was released earlier this year.
