Media reports recently suggested that Geetha Arts was considering releasing Thandel during Sankranthi, which could have clashed with Ram Charan's planned release.
The reports indicated a supposed rivalry between the Allu and Megastar camps.
Allu Arjun had reportedly encouraged producer Bunny Vasu to shift the film's release from December 20 to January 10 to compete directly with Ram Charan’s Game Changer.
However, GreatAndhra.com clarified at the time that Allu Aravind would neither endorse such behavior nor would Naga Chaitanya agree to it, given their family’s strong bond with Megastar Chiranjeevi.
As previously noted, Allu Aravind ultimately made the final decision.
He scheduled Thandel for release in February. This revised date will not interfere with any other film. That’s Allu Aravind’s approach.
He made this decision based on his extensive experience and maturity, understanding that any negative sentiments from the younger generation in their family are temporary.
Bunny Vasu left the final decision entirely to Allu Aravind to avoid potential controversy.
