The pre-release event for the biographical patriotic action film Amaran, starring Sivakarthikeyan and Sai Pallavi and directed by Rajkumar Periasamy, took place today.
The event was graced by director Nag Ashwin as the chief guest.
Sai Pallavi stated that Amaram is a great movie.
“It’s a soldier’s journey. When the army people watched it, they felt a strong connection, as if they were seeing their own story. I want to thank Sudhakar Reddy for releasing this film in Telugu. Like Kaakha Kaakha for Suriya, Amaran is a game changer for Sivakarthiyan."
Nag Ashwin affirmed that he chose to watch Amaran, after seeing Sai Pallavi’s intro video.
“The director seems to have great clarity and sincerity. I worked on Mahanati, and sometimes it’s important to tell real-life stories like Amaran. Our Supreme Yaskin (Kamal Haasan) producing this film is fantastic, and I hope it becomes a success. I’m a huge fan of Sai Pallavi. Sivakarthikeyan is choosing great films. I’ve watched his Doctor many times."
Sivakarthikeyan called Amaran a very special movie for him.

The movie Amaran produced by Kamala Haasan’s RKFI and Sony Pictures Films India is due for release on the 31st of this month.
