Akhil Akkineni is gearing up to kickstart new projects. Following the failure of "Agent" in April 2023, he has not initiated any new ventures and has been without work for the past 18 months.
However, Akhil is now set to launch two new films—one with a new director and another with Murali Kishore, who directed Kiran Abbavaram’s "Vinaro Bhagyamu Vishnu Katha."
Both projects are expected to begin production shortly. The film with the new director will be produced by UV Creations.
There have been rumors circulating that Akhil has also signed a film with Puri Jagannadh, but his team has denied this, stating that Akhil is focusing on selecting films with strong scripts rather than just working with well-known directors.
Given Puri Jagannadh's recent string of flops, including "Liger" and "Double iSmart," young actors are reportedly hesitant to collaborate with him at this time.
