Sudheer Babu’s next Maa Nanna Superhero with Abhilash Reddy Kankara directing it on V Celluloids banner in association with CAM Entertainment is up for release in 4 days on October 11th.
Sudheer Babu affirms the movie can be described as a triangle love story between two fathers and one son. “The story revolves around two fathers and one son. The various new situations that arise from the son’s struggle to care for his father are interestingly presented.
The father-son emotion is already there; it just needs to remind people. When telling a story about loving a dad, there’s no need for excessive explanation. The characters and the conflict are established right from the beginning.”
The actor says that almost every scene in the movie touched him. “The hero has immense love for his father, and this emotion came naturally to me. We all have superhero dads. We decided not to go overboard with performances. If you notice, there are no references to my past performances in this film.”
Sudheer Babu’s brother-in-law and superstar Mahesh Babu launched the film’s trailer. “I initially sent the rough cut to Mahesh. He said it looked good. After sending the final trailer, he appreciated it a lot and called it heart-touching. He found the dialogue of his name humorous.”
He avows that Abhilash is a director with a lot of clarity. “Even before seeing the output, I had full confidence in him. He will make great films in the future.”
Sudheer Babu also informs that his new film Jatadhara is in pre-production, whereas he alone lined up a film with Rahul Ravindran.
