After a lot of brainstorming and massive exercise, Telugu Desam Party president and Andhra Pradesh chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu on Tuesday announced the first list of chairpersons for 20 corporations.
Out of these 20 corporations, the TDP was allotted 16 posts, Jana Sena Party three and the Bharatiya Janata Party one. In all, Naidu filled up 99 nominated posts, including chairpersons and directors in various corporations and boards.
According to party sources, those who could not get the party tickets in the recent assembly elections and those who have sacrificed their seats for the alliance partners were given prominence in the nominated posts.
The new chairpersons of these 20 corporations are:
1. Andhra Pradesh state wakf board: Abdul Aziz
2. Sports Authority of Andhra Pradesh: Animini Ravi Naidu
3. AP Housing Board: Bathula Tathayya Babu
4. AP Scheduled Tribes Cooperative Finance Corporation: B Srinivasulu
5. AP Maritime Board: Damacharla Satya
6. Society for Employment and Enterprises Development: G Deepak Reddy
7. 20-point formula implementation corporation: Lanka Dinakar (BJP)
8. AP Markfed: Karrothu Bangarraju
9. AP State Seeds Development Corporation Ltd: Manne Subba Reddy
10. AP Industrial Infrastructure Corporation: Manthena Rama Raju
11. AP Padmasali Welfare and Development Corporation: N Abaddhayya
12. AP Tourism Development Corporation: Nukasani Balaji
13. AP State Road Transport Corporation: Konakalla Narayana
