Choreographer Jani's sexual assault case on a Hindu choreographer assistant has been taking different turns.
In the complaint, the victim claimed that he sexually assaulted her many times by threatening her with death and other consequences. She also mentioned that he pressurized her to convert to Islam and marry him.
The woman stated in her complaint that she is 21 now, and the sexual assault on her started five years ago. The victim also mentioned the name of Jani's wife, who also pressured her to marry her husband and quench his desires.
After all this, there is no suspension of Jani from Jana Sena Party. He was only asked to refrain from making any public appearance or statement on behalf of Jana Sena until the case is resolved.
On the other hand, TDP suspended Satyavedu MLA Koneti Adimulam over allegations in a similar case of sexual assault on a woman.
When Chandrababu, the chief of TDP, could take such a move, why can't Pawan Kalyan, the head of Jana Sena, do the same? Moreover, the 'Love Jihad' element is also tagged to this case. Will BJP ban Jani and make him step down from their alliance party in Andhra Pradesh?
On the other hand, actress Poonam Kaur tweeted, "Accused ‘Shaik Jani’ should not be called a master anymore. Have some respect for the word ‘Master.’"
A netizen wrote, "Are BJP and RSS deaf about choreographer Jani's 'Love Jihad' acts? Why are they sparing him? Because Jana Sena is in their alliance? If this is the response from BJP and RSS, no Hindu respects those institutions."
