Vulgar Language of Serilingampally MLA

Society expects an appropriate and balanced response to events. However, reacting with excessive anger and vulgar language to normal criticism is unacceptable.

Arekapudi Gandhi of the BRS is the MLA for Serilingampally. He was appointed to a position traditionally reserved for the opposition by Chief Minister Revanth Reddy. During the appointment, Gandhi was called and adorned with a 'tricolored scarf.'

Officially, Gandhi is a member of the BRS, but fellow BRS leader Kaushik Reddy noted that the 'kanduva' resembled a Congress scarf and remarked that he would come to Gandhi's house to hoist the BRS flag.

In response, Arekapudi Gandhi clarified that the scarf was not a Congress one but a 'Jaatiya Kanduva.' Readmore!

While this clarification was appropriate, Gandhi then resorted to using vulgar language, including offensive phrases like 'broker naa ***,' directed at Kaushik Reddy, along with threats reminiscent of a cinema villain.

Such behavior reflects poorly on an MLA representing one of the wealthiest constituencies in Hyderabad.

While anger may be understandable, resorting to foul language over a minor issue is deplorable.
