We all know that the bhajan song 'Jayamu Jayamu Chandranna' gained popularity during the last tenure of Chandrababu Naidu.
The song, sung by a group of women at Polavaram, was widely trolled and became a frequent subject for memes.
Today another song has emerged as a competitor to that one.
The song goes, "Chandrudaa... maa Chandrudaa... nirantaram raavali... nee vennela palanatho...". It was sung by a woman at a public meeting in the presence of Chandrababu Naidu, praising him.
It turned out to be an embarrassing moment, not only for the audience but also for Chandrababu Naidu, who asked her to stop midway through the performance.
Supporters of Chandrababu within the party often seek attention with whatever enthusiasm they have, without fully understanding the quality of their talents.
However, the organizers should first verify what anyone intends to sing. If the lyrics and rendition are good, it enhances Chandrababu's image. Otherwise, it ends up being more fodder for trolling than anything else.
It was fortunate that Chandrababu graciously asked her to stop, saying "thank you" with a polite smile.
