Balakrishna At 50: Fight Between Shreyas Media And Big TV

There is a rumor circulating that Shreyas Media representatives roughed up a media person who handles the Chief Minister's official channel at the Balakrishna 50 Years event, and that this is the reason Chief Minister Revanth Reddy did not attend.

However, upon inquiry, we were told by sources that Shreyas Media had organized the event as a private function with the intention of selling all the event rights to a TV channel at a price. This is why they did not allow any media personnel with cameras inside.

Media representatives were invited only with their families and not on duty.

Despite this, a reporter saying that he is from I&PR, came to record the event, as the CM was supposed to attend. Readmore!

This led to a conflict between Shreyas Media and the Media reporter, during which it was reported that the reporter was assaulted tearing the shirt. This information was conveyed to Revanth Reddy, prompting him to skip the event.

To clarify if this hearsay is true, we reached Shreyas Media’s Srinivas.

He said, "It was a Big TV person who came to our event, saying that he was sent by the I&PR and CMO. He initially said that he would cover only the part of CM Revanth Reddy's speech, but he started recording everything despite our objections. On top of that, he also started a live broadcast, and other channels began showing glimpses of it. Almost 45 minutes of the event had already aired, and now I have lost the selling opportunity. The channel with which I was negotiating has backed out. I incurred a loss of more than Rs 2 crore."

Speaking about the scuffle, he mentioned that it happened because the guy was adamant and intruded on their privacy despite being told no.

Moreover, he said that he got information that Revanth Reddy was not attending the event for some other reasons, so they told the guy to leave the place, but he stubbornly refused, resulting in the scuffle.
