Priyadarshi and Nabha Natesh starrer unique rom-com Darling directed by Aswin Raam is slated for release on the 19th of this month.
The movie will have its theatrical trailer launched tomorrow.
Meanwhile, the film’s producer Mrs Chaitanya interacted with the media to share some insights about Darling.
The producer informs that the shoot of the movie commenced before the release of Hanu-Man.
“We connected to the story instantly, when Aswin narrated to it. It’s a love marriage for the lead pair in the movie and ours was also a love marriage. After 14 years of marriage, life becomes very routine. This subject connects more to the audience of this generation, while the humor and fun elements will please the families and youth audiences.”
Chaitanya says the title Darling was not the original choice.
“We initially considered the title Why This Kolaveri for the movie. But after the success of Hanu-Man, we realized the importance of the title. The title Why This Kolaveri will connect to only youth. Then we thought of some other titles. In the end, we settled on Darling. But there is already a movie with the title Darling. Then we put Why This Kolavari as the tagline. This movie is a blend of emotion and entertainment. It is a complete family and love entertainer.”
The producer also informed that Jai Hanuman is in the pre-production phase and it is likely to go on floors from Sankranthi.
“We are yet to decide on the actor to play Hanuman. But I’ve Ram Charan and Chiranjeevi in mind for the character.”
