Dossier on atrocities during Jagan regime ready?

Telugu Desam Party president and Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu is reportedly gathering dossiers on the alleged atrocities committed during the previous YSR Congress Party regime to take stringent action.

Naidu has allegedly asked authorities to submit reports on various incidents of violence perpetrated during the YSRCP regime, false cases registered against common people and political rivals, attacks on those who questioned the government, and alleged irregularities committed by YSRCP leaders through misuse of power.

According to sources, the Naidu government will review cases such as the one filed against Dr. Sudhakar of Narsipatnam, the murder of Subrahmanyam (driver of YSRCP MLC Ananta Babu), the murder of 15-year-old Amarnath Goud of Bapatla by ganja smugglers, and the suicide of D. Karunakar of Kavali, who allegedly faced harassment from YSRCP leaders.

Dossiers on YSRCP leaders and cadres who attacked the TDP state headquarters at Mangalagiri and Naidu's residence in Undavalli are also being prepared. Readmore!

"Reports on the progress of investigations into the murders of TDP workers in the last five years are also being compiled," sources said.

Additionally, Naidu has reportedly asked for information about YSRCP leaders who amassed significant wealth by usurping properties, mines, and businesses of others by taking advantage of their power.

"The people are now voluntarily lodging complaints against the atrocities committed by YSRCP leaders in the last five years. Action will be taken against those who indulged in such atrocities," sources said.

However, the chief minister wants to ensure these actions do not appear to be acts of vengeance or harassment against YSRCP leaders.

"Every issue will be dealt with on its merit, and the police will be asked to proceed in a legal manner without resorting to high-handed tactics. Let the courts decide their fate," Naidu reportedly told the officials.
