Jabardast Venu proved himself as a talented director with the movie Balagam. After this success, he decided to direct another compelling story and make a significant film.
He narrated the story to producer Dil Raju and began searching for a suitable hero for the project. During this time, after watching Balagam, actor Nani expressed interest in working with Venu.
Venu narrated his new story to Nani, and it was nearly approved. Producer Dil Raju was also enthusiastic about the prospect of making a film with Nani.
However, discussions arose about whether Nani should make a movie with Venu or collaborate with Srikanth, the director of Dasara. After some contemplation, Nani leaned towards Srikanth.
