The actress, well-known for her rise to fame after Kantara became a pan-Indian blockbuster, has received a favorable judgment in a restraining order she sought from the court.
Sridevi Byrappa, the wife of Kannada actor Yuva Rajkumar, accused Sapthami Gowda of having an illicit relationship with her husband.
Sridevi claimed that although Sapthami Gowda appears innocent, she is actually quite different and has been living with her husband.
Sapthami Gowda approached a Bengaluru court, asserting that Sridevi was making false allegations. The court has ordered Sridevi to cease making such statements.
Sapthami Gowda is currently starring opposite Nithin in Thammudu, directed by Venu Sriram and produced by Dil Raju.
