Pushpa 2 Takes the Option of Christmas Release!

Although the producer of Pushpa 2 has not issued an official statement, recent developments in the film industry have confirmed the postponement.

Ram Pothineni's Double iSmart has announced an August 15 release date.

According to industry sources, director Sukumar refuses to compromise on quality and insists on an additional 50 to 60 shooting days.

Accounting for breaks between shooting periods, the filming process will take around three months to complete. Readmore!

As a result, the producers have no choice but to postpone the film's release from August 15 to a later date.

The production house now faces the urgent task of securing another suitable release date.

Devara has secured the September 27 slot, while Superstar Rajinikanth's film is set for a Dasara release (October 10). The next best option is the Christmas season.

The first installment of Pushpa was also released in December (17 December 2021), which would favorably align with this sentiment.

However, if the film moves to December, it will disrupt the schedules of other films, such as Nithiin's Robinhood and Naga Chaitanya's Thande, both planned for a December 20 release.

Overall, the postponement of Pushpa 2 is inevitable, though it will pose significant complications.
