Viral Pic: Is Sajjala A YSRCP MP?

Today, a picture was released and is making rounds in the media. It is from a meeting conducted by Jagan Mohan Reddy with his MPs.

Technically, only MPs of the Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha should be present. However, to the shock of many YSRCP supporters, Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy is seated in the first seat beside Jagan Mohan Reddy.

Despite the huge backlash against Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy regarding his alleged role in the downfall of the YSRCP in the elections, Jagan Mohan Reddy continues to sail only with him.

On the other hand, people from his core team, like Chevireddy Bhaskara Reddy, who is neither an MLA nor an MP now, are also present in the meeting. It is at least reasonable that he is seated in the second row. Readmore!

It would be reasonable for Jagan Mohan Reddy to keep his core team at bay, at least for the time being, until the unrest among the YSRCP leaders and cadre cools down. But Jagan Mohan Reddy is not mending his ways and continues in his own fashion.

Moreover, he made YV Subba Reddy the President of the YSRCP Parliamentary party, while Mithun Reddy and Vijay Sai Reddy were given the positions of Presidents for the party's Lok Sabha unit and Rajya Sabha unit, respectively.

The highlight is that all the names mentioned here are part of Jagan Mohan Reddy's core team, who are facing flak from the party members and leaders. What indication the party members get from seeing this photograph is the question.

All the leaders in the 1-10 positions of YSRCP are from the same Reddy community. On the other hand, TDP made Palla Srinivas Rao, a BC leader, the party president.

All these years, it was Atchen Naidu, another BC, who headed the party as president. In fact, the placement of BCs in the top brass of the party speaks about the social equation, but that is lacking in YSRCP even now.

Vundavalli Arun Kumar today suggested that YSRCP lost because of not having a proper spokesperson all these years. He suggested coming up with the right spokesperson who can represent the image of the party, instead of giving the microphone to everyone who speaks according to their whims and fancies.

In a way, Vundavalli suggested the discipline to be followed within the party ecosystem to give the right impression to the public.
