Telugu Desam Party president and former Andhra Pradesh chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu is leaving no stone unturned to come back to power at any cost, as it is a matter of do-or-die situation for him.
For the last couple of years, Naidu has been depending on Showtime Consulting, a political strategy team headed by Robbin Sharma, for working out plans and programmes for the party, if not the selection of candidates.
Sharma and his team are struggling day and night to design Naidu’s campaign strategies and doing a lot of groundwork to improve the winning prospects of the TDP candidates, besides taking the party slogans into the people through social media platforms.
At the same time, Naidu has also been getting periodical advice from noted political strategist Prashant Kishor.
Though he has not been officially taken on board, he has been giving a lot of tips to Naidu to counter the attacks from YSR Congress party headed by chief minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy.
According to latest information, Naidu has also hired the services of another political strategist Sunil Kanugolu from Mindshare Analytics, who had played an instrumental role in bringing the Congress to power in Telangana under the leadership of A Revanth Reddy.
Apparently, Sunil Kanugolu is working in tandem with Robbin Sharma in designing certain last minute campaign programmes, apart from bringing about the coordination among the TDP, Jana Sena and BJP cadres.
Interestingly, both Robbin Sharma and Sunil Kanugolu are the erstwhile colleagues of Prashant Kishor and so, the combination of three is working hard to bring Naidu back to power. It would be interesting to see how far this trio will help Naidu!
