Sahit Mothkhuri’s third directorial venture Pottel is getting ready for its theatrical release. Meanwhile, the makers came up with its teaser.
The teaser unveiled by Animal fame director Sandeep Reddy Vanga briefs what the movie is all about.
The protagonist played by Yuva Chandraa Krishna has been in love with his classmate Ananya Nagalla since childhood. Though he fails in his studies, he wins the love of her.
However, he wants to provide a good education to his daughter, so that she will have a better future. But things are not as favourable as he thought in the village with the disparity between rich and poor.
Situations turn from bad to worse with a sacred sheep goes missing and this innocent guy is blamed for the same.
The storyline sounds raw, and Sahit Mothkuri made it authentically. Yuva Chandraa Krishna is a good find, as he looked apt in the character. We root for justice for the character, despite knowing the obvious.
Cinematographer Monish Bhupathi Raju rightly captured the essence of the movie. Shekar Chandra’s background score is haunting and pulls us into the film.
Judging by the teaser, Pottel is a hard-hitting saga. The clip makes a lasting impression. The movie produced by NISA Entertainments and Pragnya Sannidhi Creations will grace the cinemas soon.
