KCR took 'supari' to give BJP 5 seats to free Kavitha

Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy made allegations on Monday, claiming that BRS chief K. Chandrashekhar Rao struck a deal with Prime Minister Narendra Modi to assist the BJP in winning five Lok Sabha seats in the state. This alleged agreement was purportedly made to secure the release of Rao's daughter, Kavitha, from jail.

Speaking at an election rally in Narayanpet in support of Mahbubnagar Lok Sabha candidate Challa Vamshi Chand Reddy, Revanth Reddy accused Rao of accepting a 'supari' from Modi to ensure the BJP's victory in Chevella, Malkajgiri, Bhongir, Mahbubnagar, and Zaheerabad, thereby halting BRS campaigning in these constituencies as part of their 'secret pact.'

The Chief Minister criticized Rao for compromising his dignity for the sake of his daughter's bail, urging BRS leaders and supporters to question their leadership about this perceived compromise.

Revanth Reddy alleged that the BRS, in collaboration with the BJP, conspired to weaken the Congress in Mahbubnagar, urging voters to thwart their plans.

He pledged to waive crop loans up to Rs 2 lakh before August 15 and to provide a Rs 500 bonus per quintal from the next crop (kharif).

Additionally, he promised to appoint a Mudiraj leader as a minister before August 15 if Neelam Madhu from Medak and Vamshi Chand Reddy from Mahabubnagar were elected.

Revanth Reddy vowed to achieve sub-categorization of Scheduled Castes into A, B, C, and D groups after the Lok Sabha elections, along with addressing the long-standing demand of the Mudiraj community for a change in category from BC-D to BC-A.

Asserting that the Congress championed social justice for all castes, he highlighted the party's nomination of more candidates from BC and SC communities in the Assembly polls compared to the BRS, which failed to field a single Mudiraj candidate.

Revanth Reddy criticized Manda Krishna Madiga, leader of the Madiga Reservation Porata Samithi (MRPS), for urging the Madiga community to vote for the BJP, reminding voters that the BJP, during its 10-year rule, failed to approve the sub-categorization of SCs.

He also pledged to expedite the Kodangal-Narayanpet lift irrigation project and the Vikarabad-Krishna railway line's completion if the Congress wins the Mahbubnagar Lok Sabha seat.
