Actor Taraka Ratna is in critical condition after suffering a massive heart attack in Kuppam.
He is currently being treated in a hospital in the town by cardiac specialists from Bengaluru's Narayana Hrudayalaya hospital.
The next 48 hours are critical and he will be closely monitored.
According to reports, Taraka Ratna's heart attack was caused by valve blockages, with nearly 95 percent of his left side of the heart blocked.
He is only 39 years old and made his acting debut in "Okato Number Kurradu" in 2002.
