Tollywood producers formed the Guild. They decided to reduce the production cost by any means. They are holding meetings every day to come to a conclusion on setting some rudiments with regard to the costs.
For this to happen smoothly they stopped the production of films as well. Many feel that the costs would come down for sure with all this.
But looking at the present situation, it looks the other way round.
Hero Nikhil, Anupama and comedian Harsha went to Vizag for the promotions of Karthikeya 2. Had they gone by regular flight, they would have covered the trip in Rs 50000. But they went in chartered flight on par with other top heroes. The Peoples Media banner burned Rs 12 lakhs on this and sent them in Chartered Flight.
Who can keep the system in control when there are big fat producers who are throwing money for these unnecessary things? This act is in fact ridiculing the ongoing strike by the Guild.
