Even as YSR Congress party president and Andhra Pradesh chief minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy has been virtually hounding a few media houses which have been known for their blatant pro-Telugu Desam Party and anti-YSRC stand, a few senior YSRC leaders are doing exactly the opposite.
These YSRC leaders, who are believed to be trusted lieutenants of Jagan, are reportedly pampering a media house which has taken a pro-TDP and anti-YSRC stand. They are said to be pumping Rs 10-12 crore into this media house every month through various methods.
Reason: this media house is known for its strong network of reporters who dig out various scams and irregularities of these ruling party leaders. If this media house can be managed, they could easily get away from being targeted.
Interestingly, this media house, which targets Jagan Mohan Reddy day in and day out, has hardly written any stories about these senior YSRC leaders who allegedly have indulging in various scams – whether it is sand mining, granite quarrying or political manipulations.
Interestingly, a key man in the team of Jagan Mohan Reddy, who is known for poking his nose in every departmental functioning, has also got a story planted in this rival media house recently. The story explained how this gentleman has grown into a super boss in the CMO, holding all powers and how even top cops would salute him.
By getting a story carried by the rival media house, this man sought to prove how crucial his presence is in the CM’s core team and how powerful he is.
Naturally, such reports in the rival media would only help him grow in stature. However, sources said Jagan is gradually sidelining him, after coming to know how this gentleman is misusing his powers!
