Venky and Chaitanya Take Daring Steps!

Venkatesh Daggubati and his nephew Naga Chaitanya are coming forward to revive the theatrical business post-second wave of coronavirus.

The theaters have remained for the last three months due to lockdown.

As Naga Chaitanya and Sai Pallavi starrer Sekhar Kammula’s “Love Story” was about to hit the screens on 16th April, the theaters in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh began closing the operations owing to the second wave of coronavirus.

Venkatesh starrer “Narappa” which was scheduled to hit the screens on May 14th got postponed indefinitely for the same reason.

Now, both these films are gearing up to hit the screens in the last week of July or August.

These two films would be the notable biggies to hit the screens first after the second wave.

Last year, Sai Dharam Tej made such a daring step to release the movie first after the prolonged lockdown.

His “Solo Brathuke So Better” was released in December last year and received an average collection.

However, the Sankranthi 2021 movies like “Krack” and “Master” brought cheers to the theatrical business.

“Uppena” and “Jathi Ratnalu” were the films that revived the theatrical business early this year.

Now, Venkatesh and Chaitanya are taking this responsibility.
