Who Is Mahi's Target In His Satirical Film?

It is an open secret that Tollywood director Raghava Mahi has a close affiliation with the ruling YSR Congress party in Andhra Pradesh and chief minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy.

It was Mahi who had made the film “Yatra,” a semi-biopic on Jagan’ father late Dr Y S Rajasekhar Reddy, former chief minister of AP.

Not only that, he also makes advertisement films for YSRC and the Jagan government on various schemes.

Now, there are reports that Mahi is working on a new film which is going to be political satire. It naturally leads to the doubts as to who he is going to target in this satirical film.

It is learnt the film is going to feature actress Shraddha Srinath in the lead role, apart from several comedians.

It is interesting to see how Mahi will make use of their characters to pack a punch on the political rivals and who he is going to target in the film.

Certainly, Mahi will not touch Telangana politics. In Andhra Pradesh, he is on the side of the ruling YSRC. So, it is generally believed that he is going to target the opposition party in Andhra – Telugu Desam Party and its president Nara Chandrababu Naidu.

Otherwise, it could even be a general satire on the contemporary politics.

At present, the UV Movies has planned three small budget films, of which two films are ready. The third one to be directed by Mahi is yet to take off on the sets.
