While the suspense about who’s going to play the other lead in the Telugu remake of Ayyappanum Koshiyum is still on, a section of media has been reporting that it will be made into a single hero subject to suit Pawan Kalyan’s image.
Although Ayyappa Nair's character was played by a character actor Biju Menon in the original and Koshy's character was played by a superstar Prithvi Raj, the Telugu remake version is going to be different as Pawan chose to play Ayyappa’s character.
As the makers are still hunting for a suitable actor to play the other lead in the remake of AK, Tollywood grapevine is abuzz with the rumors that Pawan is not in favour of doing it as a proper multi-starrer.
If the buzz is to be believed, Pawan Kalyan is not keen on teaming up with anybody who is playing lead roles. He wants it to be an out and out commercial film with a powerful antagonist.
Director Sagar Chandra is reportedly making changes to the script as per Pawan’s directions.
