RK's Naked Truths Digging TDP's Grave

There is a fine line between a naked truth and a twisted truth and the latter always spells trouble for the doer.

Andhra Jyothi’s Radha Krishna seems to be heading in the second category. He is known for his editorials but lately some are suggesting it is better he is quiet instead of writing something.

Because, each time he writes, he is digging the grave for his own image and also to that of Chandrababu Naidu and his supporters.

For example, let us examine today’s editorial excerpt-wise:

“Justice Chalameswar keeps saying among his circles that he was unable to get the chief justice position due to Chandrababu Naidu and Justice Ramana.”

Well, Chalameswar is not a politician, he is a well-read person who worked in a key position in the Supreme Court. Can someone like him state Naidu is responsible for him not becoming Chief Justice without a reason? Does it mean the appointment of judiciary officials happens through political lobbying? Only RK can clarify this.

“Everyone has a right to complain against the Judiciary members. But the government calling for a press meet and making it public is being condemned by a few”

By this RK means complaining is not wrong and everyone has a right. Then why are they making a big issue out of Jagan’s press meet. One side they create a fuss, other side they highlight the decisions that are made. When everyone has a right, what’s wrong with a press meet? Writing a column giving contrasting opinions, what do you call this?

“The strategy is to make everyone believe that his actions have the support of Narendra Modi and Amit Shah. But this is not true…”

Jagan never mentioned that he has Modi or Amit Shah’s support, neither did YCP. Also, BJP didn’t confirm they are supporting Jagan’s actions, nor did they condemn. Then why is RK trying to construe it like this? To whom is he trying to infuse some hope?

“The judges who are currently working in Supreme Court are unaware of Jaganmohan Reddy’s dark past regarding financial fraud. Ten years ago when the cases were filed, they were working in High Courts across the country. But today after knowing Jagan’s history all are in for a shock.”

Don’t even know how to react to such a statement from RK. Don’t judges read newspapers? Are they not aware of current affairs? Even national media has spoken about the cases on Jagan. Are judges so innocent that they don’t know how each politician is?

“There is an indirect role of the then CM Chandrababu Naidu in Justice Chalameswar becoming Supreme Court Judge”

This is where RK nailed it. He has revealed clearly that political lobbying runs in appointment of judiciary members. If this is true then how many more Judges had the backing of Chandrababu? In that case, what is wrong in Jagan or anyone doubting the system and questioning it? And when someone as famous as RK has said it, even people like us have to believe about political lobbying in judiciary.

“During his tours to Delhi, Telangana CM KCR used to meet the Telugu Justices Chalameswar and Ramana and request them to cooperate for state’s development”

Point is, a state’s development requires support from ruling party politicians, industrialists and officials who are in power. How can Judges who give verdicts play a role in that? Why should KCR meet them? What is the use? Is RK conveying that Jagan not meeting them is a wrong thing? And because he didn’t do that, should the common man understand the judiciary is going against Jagan?

“Those who worked in judiciary are now trying to stand with those who want to corrupt the same system, this is sad”

This can be interpreted in any way. It is not about RK saying this, even Jagan and YCP members are saying this. Well, RK has written about it with some intent but he has certainly told the truth.
