Veteran Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt has been diagnosed with lung cancer that is in the third stage.
He needs urgent medical attention and hence he is flying to the USA for getting treated. He wouldn’t be back to shootings for many months.
This has left the high budgeted and most anticipated sequel to KGF in a mess. Sanjay Dutt plays the main villain in the film and there is still a large chunk of portion that needs to be shot on him.
Makers of KGF 2 were hopeful of resuming the shoot shortly so that they could aim for Sankranthi release.
With Sanjay Dutt not being available, KGF 2 cannot be eyeing at Pongal release and may go to summer or may get delayed further depending upon how fast he recovers.
This film was actually planned for release in summer 2020 and it now looks uncertain to make it for next summer!
