I still love Jagan, party: Raghurama Raju

YSRCP parliament member from Narasapuram constituency Kanumuru Raghurama Krishnam Raju is still playing a mind game with the party, even after the YSRC leaders submitted a petition to the Lok Sabha speaker Om Birla to disqualify him from his membership.

“I still love my party and the party president. There is no question of leaving the party nor the Lok Sabha. The disqualification petition submitted by the party MPs itself will be disqualified. The evidences submitted by them are not enough to disqualify me. Nobody can cancel my Lok Sabha membership,” he said.

Reacting to the comments made by YSRC parliamentary party leader V Vijay Sai Reddy that the Telugu Desam Party was behind his rebellion against the party, Raghurama Krishnam Raju said there is absolutely no truth in these allegations.

“Lord Venkateshwara Swamy of Tirumala is behind me. The YSRC leaders have no guts to say that the BJP leaders are behind me; so, they are taking Chandrababu Naidu’s name. The fact is that nobody is behind me. I was and am with Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress party,” he said.

The Narsapuram MP said as per the party constitution, it should first constitute a disciplinary committee which should issue the show-cause notice first before taking any decision on suspension.

“It is a joke that there would be by-elections in Narasapuram. These people can only lodge a complaint, but it is the Speaker who has to take decision on disqualification,” Raghurama Krishnam Raju said.
