YSR Congress party has pooh-poohed the prediction of senior actor and Telugu Desam Party legislator from Hindupur Nandamuri Balakrishna that the Jagan government would not survive for full five years but would fall much earlier.
“Perhaps, Balakrishna doesn’t know that the YSRC has 151 MLAs. It is better he gets check-up to test his mental status,” YSRC MLC and in-charge of Hindupur Md Iqbal said.
The YSRC reminded that if the ruling party really opens the gates, there would be flood of TDP legislators into the party and the TDP would go empty.
“But chief minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy is committed to certain values and has been running his government for those values,” Iqbal said.
He said Balayya was undergoing a lot of frustration and pain for being ignored by the Telugu film industry.
“He is more worried about not attending the meeting with the Telangana chief minister rather than the problems of the people of Hindupur,” he criticised.
Iqbal wondered whether the TDP president had conducted Mahanadu or Zoom Nadu and said Naidu was only trying to do gimmicks with such meetings.
