It looks like Telugu Desam Party bosses are making all efforts to appease Junior NTR once again with eye on future elections in Andhra Pradesh.
Apparently, they have realised that the party desperately needs the charisma of a popular film personality like NTR to get back its glory.
On Wednesday, the TDP leaders and cadre competed with one another to wish NTR on his birthday.
Though TDP president N Chandrababu Naidu has not extended his wishes to NTR till the last reports came in, his son Nara Lokesh was among the first few to wish the actor.
“Warm birthday wishes to @tarak9999. May the year ahead be filled with success and happiness,” Lokesh tweeted.
Apart from Lokesh, several TDP leaders and workers flooded NTR with birthday wishes. Young parliamentarian from Srikakulam and TDP leader Kinjarapu Ram Mohan Naidu also wished all success to NTR on his birthday.
“I wish a great year ahead to NTR,” he wished.
It may be recalled that NTR had played active role in the TDP for quite long time and in 2009 general elections, he took up extensive campaign. In the process, he also met with an accident in Nalgonda district.
The young actor also attended a few party meetings, including Maha Nadu, subsequently, along with his father Nandamuri Harikrishna.
However, NTR quietly distanced himself from the TDP subsequently with Naidu started side-lining him to promote his own son Nara Lokesh.
