Andhra Pradesh records its first coronavirus death today as 55-year old man succumbs to COVID-19. He was admitted on March 30 and was suffering from Hypertension Diabetes.
The deceased came in contact with his son, who travelled to Delhi and returned to the state on March 17. The state registered a total of 161 cases this morning.
Coronavirus cases shot up further in Andhra Pradesh by 12 overnight, touching an overall 161, while the third Covid-19 patient in Kakinada recovered on Friday.
SPS Nellore district is turning out to be the hotbed with the number of cases climbing to 32, adding eight overnight.
