Top 5: Sankranthi Movies Set Box Office On Fire

1) Sarileru Neekevvaru: The biggest release of the festive season has lived up to expectations with a stunning opening across all centers.

It has recorded the best firsy day numbers in Mahesh Babu's career. Anil Ravipudi made a masala movie aimed at the masses and the film should hold well in B and C centers throughout the festive season.

2) Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo: Trivikram-Allu Arjun's third collaboration has raised expectations with its chartbuster songs.

The film has lived up to the enormous expectations and registered sensational collections on its day 1.

It has generated unanimous positive word of mouth and is likely to dominate the box office in A centers and in overseas during this festive season.

3) Darbar: Rajanikanth's Darbar opened well but got sidelined with the arrival of Telugu biggies.

It would have held it's ground with better content but the positive response for Telugu big releases will restrict the chances of Darbar cashing in on Sankranthi festival holidays.

4) Prathi Roju Pandage: Maruthi's Prathi Roju Pandage is now running in limited screens but still getting decent footfalls amid Sankranthi rush at the box office.

It has kept the ticket windows busy until Sankrathi films took over the reins.

5) Tanhaji: Ajay Devgn's period war drama Tanhaji is having a solid run at the box office. It is set to become one of the highest grossing films in Ajay's career.
