NDA in Andhra is big farce, says BJP leader

The alliance among the three partners of National Democratic Alliance (NDA) in Andhra Pradesh – Telugu Desam Party, the Jana Sena Party and the Bharatiya Janata Party – is very fragile and will not last long.

This was the opinion expressed by none other than a senior BJP leader and former MLA Ambika Krishna.

He said the BJP leaders and cadre in all the 175 assembly constituencies are dead against joining hands with the TDP, but the national leadership has gone against the wishes of the party workers.

“Several BJP leaders have written to the national leadership vehemently opposing the alliance with the TDP, as the party has the capacity to win quite a few seats in Andhra Pradesh. Yet, the alliance was formed. But the BJP workers are not happy,” he said. Readmore!

Krishna said in the coming elections, no BJP worker will vote for the TDP candidates.

“They will vote according to their conscience, but will not follow the alliance dharma. This is for sure,” he said.

Ironically, Ambika Krishna had been with the TDP for a long time and became an MLA twice. After the bifurcation of combined state, he was not given any prominence in the TDP and hence, he joined the BJP.

Needless to say, Ambika Krishna did not get the BJP ticket in the ongoing elections.

“Not just me, many other genuine BJP leaders haven’t got the party tickets in the coming elections,” he said.
