Nani Once Again Tests the Hindi Market

Actor Nani is making yet another determined attempt to crack the Hindi market, a territory that has so far remained elusive for him despite multiple releases.

Films like “Dasara,” “Hi Nanna,” “Saripodhaa Sanivaaram,” and “HIT 3” failed to make any significant impact in North India, with collections reportedly not even covering the cost of extensive promotions.

For his upcoming film “The Paradise,” Nani has roped in a top Hindi distribution banner to handle the North Indian release.

In addition, a dedicated PR team has been hired exclusively for the Hindi version to ensure aggressive and focused promotions.

The film, directed by Srikanth Odela, is currently under production, and Nani is hopeful that it will finally give him a respectable run in the Hindi belt.

Back home, Nani continues to enjoy a strong success streak, with his recent films performing well in the Telugu market.

However, that success is yet to translate beyond the core Telugu audience; a gap he is keen to bridge with “The Paradise.”
