Naidu press meets become boring!

These days, it has become a habit for Telugu Desam Party president and Andhra Pradesh chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu to speak to the media almost every day.

Ever since the polling was held on April 11, Naidu has virtually no work.

He went on campaigning in a couple of states initially and later went to Himachal Pradesh with family. After that he has virtually no work to do.

Since Naidu wants to be in headlines every day, he has been calling for press conferences regularly at his camp office and giving vent to his anger at YSR Congress party, Telangana Rashtra Samithi and of course, Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the Election Commission. Readmore!

As a result, the press conferences have become a little overdose for the media.

Except Modi and Jagan bashing and making tall claims about his party’s victory in the elections, there has not been much substance in Naidus’ press conferences.

On Friday, Naidu got a subject to talk about --- Cyclone Fani. However, most of the points that he had spoken were already released to the media by the officials. There was nothing much to write about. So, he started attacking the Election Commission once again.

And on Saturday and Sunday, Naidu reviewed the party’s performance in the elections in parliamentary constituencies. Though it is an internal review, Naidu has been calling for press conferences again and again and speaking on the party issues as well.

On Sunday, Naidu said the TDP had to face several villains during the run up to the general election and the attack on the TDP was continuing even after the elections.

Naidu said the good work done by the government has helped the party in facing all the challenges that were thrown against it by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Telangana Rashtra Samithi chief K Chandrasekhar Rao and YSR Congress party president Y S Jaganmohan Reddy.

He said the people of the state had understood the game plan of the trio and firmly stood by the TDP as they wanted the development to continue. Hence, it is a foregone conclusion that the TDP would form the government again, Naidu said.
