TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu had embarrassing welcome or rather feedback from his home constituency Kuppam, where he is currently camping.
Naidu had visited Kuppam for the first time in several years. His visit this time was forced by the party’s defeat in the just-concluded Gram Panchayat elections.
While Naidu was on the three-day tour to consolidate his position and console the rank and file of the party, some over enthused activists asked him to bring film actor Junior NTR into the party.
Though Naidu tried to silence the voices for Jr NTR, the activists continued to raise the demand, if the party has to survive.
It is not just the activists of Kuppam, who want Jr NTR to be an active campaigner in the party. Most of the leaders and the cadre across the state want the actor’s presence or even want the actor to take over the party.
Naidu had conveniently kept the actor and others away from the party due to fear of losing his son Lokesh in the party.
Naidu is doing everything in the party only to consolidate the position of his son, Lokesh.
He fears threats from Jr NTR and others and hence keeps them away from the party.
But he had seen the reality at the ground level, which doesn’t match his plans for the future of the party and his son.
