Naidu Better Leave AP, Settle In Telangana!

YSR Congress party on Saturday suggested that Telugu Desam Party president and Andhra Pradesh chief minister better leave the state and settle down in Telangana.

“The sooner Naidu leaves Andhra and settles down in Hyderabad, the better for the people in AP. The people are eagerly waiting for Naidu to get out of the state,” YSRC MLA and spokesman G Srikanth Reddy said.

He alleged that at a time when several districts of Andhra Pradesh were reeling under severe drought conditions, the chief minister had focused on Telangana assembly elections and campaigned for Maha Kootami.

“Naidu knows that he would be hounded out of Andhra sooner or later; so he got a house constructed at Rs 100 crore in Hyderabad. After 2019 assembly elections, he will have to leave Andhra and settle down in his house in Hyderabad. The people of Andhra Pradesh are looking forward to Naidu’s departure from AP,” Reddy said.

He further pointed out that wherever Naidu went, drought followed him.

“For the first time, Naidu himself has admitted that the state was reeling under the impact of severe drought for the last seven years. He told this to the Central team which was on a field visit. He admitted that 33.60 lakh acres of crop was damaged due to the drought and over 16.52 lakh farmers were affected,” he said.

He sought to know what Naidu had done to provide succor to the drought hit farmers all these years.

He has been conducting water teleconferences, weekly reviews and ministerial meetings one a weekly basis, but has done precious little for the farmers, the YSRC leader alleged.
