Senior actor Akkineni Nagarjuna generally takes part in the promotion of his son Naga Chaitanya’s films, whether they are produced under the family banner or some other banner. As a proud father, he considers it as his responsibility.
As a matter of fact, not just for Naga Chaitanya’s films, Nagarjuna extends his complete support to the films of any of Akkineni’s family members. Even for his daughter-in-law Samantha, Nag does not forget to promote her films.
But for the first time, Nagarjuna has stayed away from the promotion of “Venky Mama” in which his son Naga Chaitanya acted with his maternal uncle Venkatesh. He has not uttered a word about the film till date.
Though he has been tweeting about other films, Nagarjuna has remained silent about Venky Mama, despite knowing fully well that it will generate all kinds of rumours in the media. He has not posted a single sentence about this film.
In fact, Nagarjuna maintains good relation with Venkatesh. Even with Suresh Babu, he doesn’t have any issues. So, it remains a mystery and is generating a lot of curiosity as to why Nagarjuna has been silent on Venky Mama.
What is more interesting is that though Venky and Chaitanya together acted in this film, their combination has not brought their fans together. They are not acknowledging this uncle-nephew combination.
While Daggubati fans are not owning up Chaitanya who became dearer to Venky Mama, as they, somehow, do not like the heroes from Akkineni family!
