My Home chief complains to ED against KTR?

If rumours doing rounds in the social media are really believable, the Enforcement Directorate authorities are getting ready to serve notices on Telangana Rashtra Samithi working president and state IT minister K T Rama Rao on the allegations of money laundering.

According to these rumours, a complaint to the ED authorities was lodged by none other than industrialist Jupally Rameshwar Rao of My Home Group, who had been a close confident of TRS president and chief minster K Chandrasekhar Rao till recently.

Rameshwara Rao’s relations with KCR had strained after the episode of Statue of Unity inauguration by Prime Minister Narendra Modi at Chinna Jeeyar Swamy ashram at Muchintal on February 5 this year.

Since then, KCR and his government have completely sidelined Rameshwar Rao and instead, have started encouraging another construction major Phoenix Group, whose promoter Suresh Chukkapalli is believed to be closer to KTR. Readmore!

Apparently, KCR is strongly believing that Rameshwar Rao had become closer to Bharatiya Janata Party leadership and particularly, Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

At one stage, there was a talk that Rameshwar Rao might get Rajya Sabha nomination from either Andhra Pradesh or Uttar Pradesh.

Against this backdrop, the reports in social media said Rameshwar Rao had recently lodged a complaint with the ED against KTR, Chukkapalli and some other friends of the TRS leadership about their alleged acts of money laundering.

The complaint is learnt to have been registered with the ED’s Hyderabad office and in three or four days, there might be some development on this front. There could be raids on KTR’s industry friends or even on KTR’s office, these reports said.
