YSR Congress party president and Andhra Pradesh chief minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy’s decision to operate from his own house at Tadepalli as the camp office has become a trouble for the local villagers adjacent to his house.
Being the chief minister, Jagan definitely needs huge security cover. He has to have his own helipad and wide roads for smooth travel, since he cannot be travel slowly on the narrow road leading to the house.
According to official sources, more security cover is being provided around the chief minister’s residence, especially in the helipad area. At present, there is a police picket with the iron barricades providing protection at the helipad.
Recently, the officials have decided to strengthen the compound wall around and install the fencing on the west side of the helipad. They also decided to install a gate to the entry point of the helipad area.
Now, they are planning to provide a thoroughfare from the backside of the camp office towards the main road, which needed demolition of a few houses.
The road widening works are also going on for the smooth movement of CM convoy from his residence.
Naturally, it will cause of a lot of inconvenience to the locals, who cannot travel on the road normally, when so many visitors would be coming to the camp office to meet him.
So, the authorities are forcing some of the residents around Jagan’s residence to shift to other places.
Of course, the government is paying them adequate compensation besides showing them alternative sites to construct own houses.
