Mondi Kathi: Trivikram Copies a Writer's Idea?

Recently Trivikram has been facing plagiarism charges. The story of his last film “Agnyaathavasi” was based on a French Movie “Largo Winch” and the original director had threatened to take legal action against Trivikram for copying the story.

Before that he also copied Yaddanapudi Sulochana Rani’s famous novel “Meena” for “A Aa” starring Nithin and Samantha. He later acknowledged that “A Aa” was inspired by Meena.

He is now facing similar allegations from a Rayalaseema writer Vempalli Gangadharam.

In his Facebook post, Vempalli accused Trivikram of copying his writings. The “Mondi Kathi” episode in “Aravindha Sametha” is straight out of his story, he alleged.

The writer said that he met Trivikram on the day the shoot of “Aravindha Sametha” began rolling in Ramoji Film City in April this year.

Vempalli reportedly narrated the stories and characters that he has written in Rayalaseema dialect. However, Trivikram didn’t give due credit to me, Vempalli wrote in his Faceboook post.

Strangely, the writer removed his post from Facebook a couple of hours later.
