Andhra Pradesh minister for animal husbandry and dairy development Seediri Appala Raju is learnt to have got a call from chief minister's office on Friday, evoking surprise from the party leaders.
According to sources, Appala Raju was informed by the CMO to come to Tadepalli to meet chief minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy later in the evening.
Appala Raju cancelled all his programmes in Vizianagaram district and rushed to Tadepalli. He is said to be a little tense following the sudden call.
Though the exact reason for Jagan's call to Appala Raju is not immediately known, it led to speculations that the Jagan is contemplating reshuffling his cabinet by dropping some ministers and inducting a few others.
Apparently, Appala Raju might be one among the ministers who are likely to be shown the door. Before doing that, Jagan wants to talk to him personally and explain to him why he has been compelled to take the decision.
Like Appala Raju, a couple of other ministers might be forced to resign, so that they would be replaced by fresh faces.
