Megastar Chiranjeevi and Meher Ramesh joined forces for the first time for the mega mass action entertainer Bholaa Shankar made under the banner of Anil Sunkara’s AK Entertainments. The film’s core team took part in a funny chit-chat session as part of the promotions.
It is known that, Bholaa Shankar is the official remake of the Tamil movie Vedhalam.
“Since I was doing the remake of Lucifer in Telugu titled GodFather, I didn’t have interest in doing another remake then. But Anil Sunkara convinced me saying it will be completely different from the original. I too felt the same after listening to the story. Meher Ramesh stylized Bholaa Shankar and incorporated a lot of comedy. You at any point will feel like watching a remake.”
Meher Ramesh is the cousin of Chiranjeevi. However, the latter says he never treated him like a brother on sets.
“I treat Meher Ramesh like my brother outside. But when we go to set, there’s no sentiment and relation. I’m very professional on set. He too used to be very attentive with a fear that I may scold him if he makes any mistake.”
Chiranjeevi also appreciated Tamannaah Bhatia and Keerthy Suresh for their passion towards cinema.
