If the talk going in the Telangana Rashtra Samithi is to be believed, there is likely to be a major reshuffle in the party organisation as well as the government soon after the announcement of Dubbak by-elections.
According to the talk, there would be a minor reshuffle in the party and the government if the TRS wins the Dubbak by-poll with a huge majority.
“But if the margin of victory is less or the TRS loses the Dubbak seat, there are going to be major changes in the party,” these reports said.
It is learnt if the TRS loses elections in Dubbak, there will be an axe on a few ministers including finance minister T Harish Rao, Eatala Rajender and Gangula Kamalakar.
“There is no surprise if TRS president and chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao himself will step down and make way for his son K T Rama Rao to become the chief minister,” sources said.
KCR’s daughter and newly-elected MLC K Kavitha might find a place in the cabinet, apart from being given key responsibility in the party.
“There are chances of the BJP-JD (U) combine losing the elections in Bihar and if that happens, KCR will begin the efforts to bring in all the non-BJP and non-Congress forces together for a third front,” sources said.
Let us wait and see what will happen in the next three or four weeks.
