Samantha has found support from unexpected quarters. Actress and BJP leader Madhavi Lata urged people not to comment against Samantha in her divorce issue.
In a Facebook live chat session, Madhavi Latha asked her fans to keep in mind that Samantha is a good-hearted person.
“Many people are commenting that cine folks don’t keep relationships for long. But the fact is that more divorce cases are happening in society than in the film industry. In outside world, it is Batuku Jatka Bandi. Regarding Samantha’s religious practices, she goes to temples and also practices her religion. She went to Tirumala many times,” Madhavi Latha went on.
She also slammed people who commented that Samantha’s glamorous dressing style caused trouble in her marital life.
“Samantha did films with the knowledge and permission of her husband Naga Chaitanya. Dressing glamorously is part of a celeb’s life. I don’t see any issue there. If that were the case, Ranveer Singh and Abhishek Bachchan would have separated from their respective wives Deepika Singh and Aishwarya Rai,” Madhavi Latha defended.
Madhavi Latha said Samantha is facing criticism because she is a more popular personality.
“When Nagarjuna divorced his first wife Lakshmi gaaru (Naga Chaitanya’s mother), there was no outrage like this. Because she’s not a famous actress like Samantha is,” Madhavi Latha explained.
Madhavi Latha also made sly remarks against Siddharth.
Finally, she concluded that Samantha always wanted to become a mother, and she is a good-hearted person.
