The discussions are happening in some social media pages about Lokesh and Pawan Kalyan not going to Vizag to console and morally support the Styrene Gas Leak victims. Here is a thread.
"Chandrababu Naidu not coming to Vizag for not being able to travel all the way by road at that age, can be understood. But if he has any idea to promote Lokesh Naidu as his successor, he would have encouraged him to go.
"It is the personal visit and human touch that matters a lot for the success of any leader. Same is the case with Pawan Kalyan. He is not an old man to avoid travelling. He would have reached Vizag to console the victims. Both Lokesh and PK have lost their opportunity", wrote a netizen on social media.
As a comment to this someone wrote, "AP government is not allowing them into the state by frightening them that they would be sent to Quarantine center for 14 days. That's why they are not going".
To this some other replied, "This is ridiculous. First they should attempt to go. Then if they really face such situation, they can score more points. Normal citizens are being allowed to cross the borders in emergency situation like deaths in family.
It is the constitutional right and duty of opposition party leaders to reach out to the people in their service. I see mere negligence and laziness in the part of these Lokesh and PK for not attempting to go to Vizag".
