Chandrababu Naidu is the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, and officially, the second in command in the state government is the Deputy Chief Minister. As we know, Pawan Kalyan holds that position.
However, despite not being the Deputy CM, Lokesh holds significant influence among the ministers, largely because he is the Chief Minister's son.
Many even consider Lokesh to be the real power behind the party. In fact, Lokesh is seen as the No. 2 in the alliance government.
Typically, when people want to make donations or meet with the Chief Minister, they prefer to take a photo with him.
But when they can't secure an appointment with the CM, one would expect them to approach the Deputy CM. Interestingly, in this case, rather than going to the Deputy CM, people are turning to Lokesh.
If the donors are fans of the TDP, it makes sense for them to approach Lokesh instead of the Deputy CM.
What’s more intriguing is that even relatives and party members of the Deputy Chief Minister are seeking appointments with Lokesh to make donations and take photos, bypassing Pawan Kalyan.
Does this imply that Lokesh is the true power center after Chandrababu Naidu? It certainly seems that way.
