TDP General Secretary Nara Lokesh compared TDP Chief N Chandrababu Naidu to South African leader Nelson Mandela on Saturday.
Lokesh stated that the people of South Africa knew that Mandela had done nothing wrong to be sent to jail. Similarly, people across the Telugu-speaking states knew that Chandrababu Naidu had not committed any wrongdoing to be imprisoned.
Just as Mandela emerged from jail and became the President of South Africa, Lokesh expressed confidence that Chandrababu Naidu would also be released from jail and become the Chief Minister in 2024.
Lokesh asserted that the charges against his father were false and lacked substance in the eyes of the law.
He announced that the TDP would challenge the Jagan Mohan Reddy government alongside the Jana Sena. Lokesh pledged to continue the Bhavishyattuku Guarantee program initiated by Chandrababu Naidu.
He revealed his plans to launch this program from Nandyal, where Naidu was arrested on September 9.
Lokesh further stated that this program would commence on November 1. He urged the party members to be prepared to support both the program and the party.
Additionally, Lokesh mentioned that his mother, Bhuvaneswari, would visit the families of 150 individuals in the state who passed away due to cardiac arrest following Chandrababu Naidu's arrest.
